Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to establish and nurture relationships with distributors, channel partners, and other strategic alliances. This role is critical to expanding our market reach and driving revenue growth through strong partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and a passion for fostering mutually beneficial relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic relationships with distributors, resellers, and other channel partners to drive sales and market penetration.
  • Create and execute partnership strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes for Aware Sensors and its partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for channel partners, providing support, training, and resources to maximize their success.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure partner needs are met effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze partner performance, providing regular feedback and developing plans to enhance outcomes.
  • Represent Aware Sensors at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings to build brand awareness and establish new connections.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive activity, and opportunities for innovation within the channel ecosystem.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development, channel management, or related roles, preferably in technology or industrial markets.
  • Strong understanding of distribution models, channel sales strategies, and partnership management.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in the IoT, sensor technology, or related industries is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data analysis to track performance metrics and optimize partner success.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
